"Gall bladder removal surgery at ward 2 Grantham Hospital"

Although going into hospital for surgery is never a pleasent thought or experience the staff at United Lincolnshire Hospitals offered good clear communication and reasurance to help me understand every step of the way during day surgery to have my troublesome gall bladder removed. The covid test and blood works at Lincoln was handled well. On the morning of surgery on ward 2 at Grantham I was treated with respect and dignity from all staff from the sucurity on the door to being welcomed by the nurses on the ward. The consultant his team, nurses and anethethetic team were brillient. Thank you all I discharged the same day, allowing me to return home to go to bed and rest and recover at my own pace. I am now day 5 and up washed and dressed and pottering around on the road to recovery. Each day things get easier and less uncomfortable and painfull. Thank you all for working so hard for me to look forward to getting back to my usual ability minus a poorly gall bladder.
