"No hand sanitiser in main reception"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres

(as a service user),

On entering the hospital (main reception) there was no hand sanitiser. I have been twice to the hospital weeks apart and the dispensers were empty on both occasions.

Ambulance attendant not wearing a mask when coming out of the ambulance.

Certainly not inspiring me with any confidence at all.

Dear TJC

I am sorry to hear that the hand sanitisers were empty when you attended the hospital. We will immediately review our processes to ensure that there is a robust system in place for top up and checking.

I will also share your concerns with the ambulance service regarding the attendant not wearing a mask.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback this information and again I apologise that we have not met the standard that I would expect.

Kind regards

Lise
