My son was admitted to neonatal shortly after a c-section birth,he was having problems with his lungs.
After a few hours of rest I got a visit from a nurse who had pictures of my little dude, this gave me reassurance that he was doing OK, even tho I knew he was poorly it still helped put a smile on my face.
Once I got out of bed I went through to neonatal to see my wee dude, but before I seen him his nurse Deborah stopped me and updated me on his condition and told me what to expect.
Deborah is an amazing nurse, not only did she look after my little bundle of joy she looked after me ensuring that I was comfortable in the chair whilst holding him. She gave me lots of support as I was struggling seeing my wee dude so poorly, if it wasn't for covid I'm sure she would have gave the best hugs. Deborah listened to all my worries and concerns and didn't judge me. So I would truly from the bottom of my heart like to say thank you to Deborah for everything.
I would also like to thank Janice. She also looked after my wee dude when he was really poorly and helped to comfort me when I wasn't coping. So again thank you to Janice for everything and looking after my wee dude, he is thriving.
I wanted to write this as I wanted to share my experience of the amazing staff at FVRH neonatal. And nothing personal I hope when I have baby number 2 I don't need to see you again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my husbands for looking after our wee prince and getting him well enough to come home.
Yous are all truly amazing xxx
