I have a lump on my leg which the GP is unsure whether it’s something to worry about or not. I have a referral pending at the hospital and getting updates of the progress is painful and ridiculous. It’s been two weeks since my referral and they won’t even tell me the hospital so I can chase myself. Their advice is to wait for the hospital to get in contact. And if it gets worse to go to AE. It’s an awful experience and not at all preventative. On a call I was told that that the GPS have cancer patients to deal and were very busy making me feel unimportant. Considering our NI contributions I feel I would be better off with private care.
Asking me to get in contact with the practice as you have to another review here is a waste of time and shows a pack of consideration to customer feedback since you have to go through e consult all over again! Only then to be texted and you can’t even reply!!! This is one way communication with a service that’s over worked underappeciated and this can give their patience the care they deserve
