Telephone appointment with a new Consultant. Never met the individual before and they made no effort to engage or introduce themselves apart from their name. Didn't seem to be familiar with my notes at all.
Sounded disinterested, and after a few minutes said they had to take another call and would ring back. Over 20 minutes later rang back and seemed really keen to end the call, dismissed any concerns I had, all in all less than 10 minutes of a yearly review. No real care, empathy or compassion. Just felt patronised and as if I was an inconvenience.
