"Efficient Podiatrist going above and beyond"

After failing to get a call back from the GP Practice/Treatment Room staff regarding my elderly fathers leg ulcers it was fortunate that he had a Podiatry appointment at the Limavady Health Centre few days later. 

Jaki the Podiatrist was concerned and proceeded to take photos of the leg ulcers, take them directly to the GP and return with a prescription for further antibiotics, advice, reassurance and dressings.  A referral was made by the GP to have the District Nursing Team attend to provide further care.

The Podiatry Department Staff always have been extremely efficient and caring to both my parents. Even During the pandemic there has been easy access to Podiatry care and patients are welcomed and feel safe. I feel that the quality service provided by the podiatrists has been excellent and the care outstanding whilst other services have been drastically reduced.
