"Play therapist"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Play Service

(as a parent/guardian),

Sarah is a great asset to the RACH. We was admitted for near a week with my son. He has Autisim and doesn't like social situations but he took to Sarah straight away even putting on his shoes as soon as he seen her and running to get her to play.

She took him to the therapy room, painted, did sensory play, which not only broke up his day it gave me a little break to get showered etc. Sarah is friendly, happy, compassionate and obviously loves her job! She is a great asset to your team and we really appreciated the service she provided.

We don't feel comfortable putting our son with anyone, but it was with great pride we watched him run off with Sarah to play. All of the staff I praised Sarah too said the same thing, that she is great with kids and they all like being around her. Great job Sarah, well done ❤️

Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I am so glad that Sarah our Archie play leader was able to help make you and your son's hospital stay a positive experience. I agree Sarah is a brilliant play leader and it is lovely to hear about the relationship she was able to form with you and your child. Sarah is funded by the Archie Foundation and they too will be delighted to hear such great feedback about her work. Sarah was really happy with your kind words.
