"Elective Gallbladder surgery"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Dept of Scheduled Admissions Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 206 following laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery.

From initial checks in the Dosa ward to discharge the treatment and care I received here was exceptional.

I was feeling extremely apprehensive about the anaesthetic for the operation and staff immediately put me at ease.

The theatre nurse in recovery thank you so much for the care after my surgery, you listened to me mumble nonsense and ensured I was pain free.

A special thank you goes out to the staff (Emily, Student nurse, HCA) on night duty in ward 206.

You all made sure I was comfortable though out the night even when the patient buzzers were going non stop nothing was too much. Your kindness and professionalism you showed was very much appreciated.

Thank you ARI

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with positive feedback on your stay in ward 206.

I am glad you were made to feel at ease and felt comfortable. I have shared your feedback with Emily and the rest of the team who are grateful to have their hard work recognised.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks again.

Fiona
