"OUTSTANDING SDEC Same Day Emergency Care Unit"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

Was sent to the unit following a Temporal Arteritis diagnosis, the care I received was outstanding, from the reception staff to the surgeon who performed the surgery that afternoon. They were all caring, professional, respectful and treated me with dignity. The surgery wasn’t pleasant but was made bearable by a friendly and well organised team. I’ve been in lots of private and NHS hospitals but this unit was easily one of the best. Thank you all for looking after me.
