About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was a patient on ward M1 at the Royal Bolton hospital for a vaginal hysterectomy. The care I received was very good - I was treated with dignity and respect.

I think the food could have been better, but since they are only allowed a small budget per person, I think they do alright.

Thank you to Mr Tomlinson and all staff in theatre; and all nurses on M1.

It is good to know that you were happy with your care and we will pass on your remarks to Mr Tomlinson and the other staff.

With regard to the food, we do take patient views into account when compiling our menus, so we are sorry that you felt the food could have been better.
