Joined this surgery after dissatisfactory experiences at my previous surgery.
They want to stop my pill as I'm "high risk" I could get a blood clot and die!!
This might sound strange to doctors, but for some people, living with chronic illnesses, death is fine. It's living that's the struggle. This pill I take, stops me having periods so my fibromyalgia doesn't flare up, out of control. I've tried others and had bad side effects. It's the only one that works for me.
I've also just been told I no longer need to take the B12 injections I've been having for 2-3 years. I rely on these to get me out of bed so I can go to work every day. I suffer extreme fatigue every day. They said I can just take supplements. I was taking supplements when I was diagnosed. They did nothing for me and I was still diagnosed with the deficiency.
I honestly don't know what to do. I couldn't even accept my telephone appointment yesterday, because I was too distraught about it, to speak on the phone.
Things aren't that simple. You can't just take away these things from people.
You really have no idea what impact this is going to have on my life.
At a total total loss now and can't stop crying.
So tired of being let down, by the very people, who are supposed to help you.
"I give up."
