"Telephone Consultation"

Due to Covide 19 restrictions we are all getting use to different way of accessing NHS services, today I had a booked Consultation with Dr Eugenicos from WGH, precise instructions sent via a letter with time & date & what would happen plus reminder to make sure they have your up to date details.

Dr E introduced Dr Halloran Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist, was asked if that was alright etc, which was fine with me it was like a huge weight lifted off me 2 professionals at one appointment how great is that.  It was a relief to be able to to discuss my Gut/Bowel problems there are few that understand this condition & feel involved with any decisions, so being able to have this consultation in keeping with Covid restrictions was very much welcomed & needed.  Both were very clear, didn't mind repeating anything & gave time for me to answer, at each stage ensuring I was ok with any questions & I understood everything both listened to me. Both put me at ease which for me was the first time I've felt I could trust someone & be comfortable with what I said, & not being judged. I just wish to say thank you, I have a long road ahead & no easy quick fixes, but I as did my husband, came off the phone feeling a bit lighter & that there is a light somewhere ahead. With a plan in motion today has really helped me. Thank You so very much.
