"All the staff were truly fantastic."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedics Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Scottish Elective Unit

(as the patient),

Forth valley In Larbert, Mr Deleeuw was very thorough and straight talking and that is what you want with people. After op the dosage on painkillers were wrong but was not staff fault, The painkillers I was taking pre-op were about 3x more as on my prescriptions. Had to be a written request to my GP, therefore it was not on my prescription pink slip repeat slip, staff didn't know this. While staff were wondering why my pain was so severe it was because it wasn't stated I was taking more painkillers pre-op than post op, once we got to bottom of it my pain relief was quickly sorted and made all the difference.

All and I mean all the staff in FVH, SEU 11a Ward, were truly fantastic, if I ever need my other knee done I hope I go to this ward for after care. Bit of Banter with Michael was good, and without naming anyone, they were all superb, ❤🤍💙 well done.
