About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Gosport

(as a service user),

During this very difficult time Gosport Inclusion have been running groups on teams. We have just started a creative writing group on mondays which is great fun, you don't have to be a great writer, just put pen to paper and see what happens...

Tuesday's we have ACT which is so helpful and inspiring, relaxing and guaranteed to make any day better.

Wednesday's we have a quiz, which is challenging and fun for everyone taking part.

Thursday's we have Phoenix group, which is a general chat with everyone contributing a little to how we are all feeling, and helping one another to manage in the situation we find ourselves in due to covid 19.

These groups are an excellent way to connect with others who may be feeling isolated, we laugh, we cry and most of all we share our recoveries as we slowly recover from our addictions. Staff at Inclusion are brilliant, completely professional but with a true understanding of where we all are, and have been in our addictions, laughing with us, crying with us, watching as we grow and encouraging us all the way. The support is amazing and I am blessed to be able to engage with such a wonderful organisation.

Thank you for your recent post and taking the time to give feedback.

Meeting and connecting with others is so powerful in recovery particularly during this difficult time for us all. Our aim at Inclusion has been to provide a variety of online groups to support service users in their recovery when face to face meetings are not possible at the moment. I am so glad that you have engaged in many of the groups Gosport Hub has to offer and are enjoying attending, sharing your experiences with others and getting the support you need. I will share your positive feedback with the Gosport Team.

I would encourage you to keep attending and wish you all the very best in your continued recovery.
