"Hand injury treated at Dungannon"

About: South Tyrone Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

In October my teenage son cut his hand badly in a gardening accident. We went to the minor injuries unit in Dungannon and were seen by the nurse in charge (Ruth), who was assisted by a health care assistant and nursing student. the injury required cleaning, stitching and xray.

I just wanted to say the treatment was first class from everyone involved- efficient and effective, while remaining caring and reassuring to the patient. Also clear information given on follow up care. Well done to all involved.
