"CTC Scan"

The last time I wrote a review I was extremely angry with certain Consultants. This time I want to praise 2 people who helped me through a horrible CTC Scan .

I was in absolute agony with my stomach and have been for most of this year and eventually the Consultant referred me for this scan. I had to drink some vile stuff called Gastrografin which made the pain worse and as I also have 2 fractured vertebrae the pain front and back is intolerable.

I am ashamed to say I don't know the names of the 2 people who helped me through the horrible CTC Scan but they were so supportive, kind and compassionate that I wanted to sing their praises and thank them SO much for the way they cared for me. I will find out their names and write to both but I have seen the male Nurse before when I had scans and he has always been so kind and the Nurse who put the canula in and prepared me for the scan was also wonderful.

They have worked through the Pandemic and I think all of the Staff are so brave and I would like to thank everybody at Raigmore who work so hard and care for us. For the 2 people who looked after me yesterday,  you are my hero and heroine. Some Consultants should take lesson's from you in patient care! Apart from Dr. Ed Paterson and his team who saved my life 2 year's ago. Thank you is so inadequate but thank you.
