I was brought by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary Of Edinburgh, and quickly diagnosed with a burst appendix with most complications you can read on line on Appendicitis with peritonitis.
Following the open surgery procedure, I was then cared for by the team at ward 106.
This review is for everyone involved in my care: ambulance crew, medical staff involved in the diagnosis, anaesthestists, surgeons, qualified nurses and those on placement, the crew involved in keeping the patients fed, hydrated , the beds changed and the ward clean.
Big thank you for looking after me over the scariest days of my life, and for your contribution to my fast recovery.
"Excellent care: Royal Inf. Edin. Ward 106"
