"I would be lost without them"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Ward 6A

(as the patient),

I was transferred from Ward 9 to Ward 6a, I got my own room that is lovely and a beautiful room, there has been nurses that have been looking after my care that I dare say saved my mental state.

With Covid we are not allowed visitors so im in this room all alone and there isn't any patient to patient sociability, Nurses Jose, Joseph, Nina, Sharon, and Student Nurse Snead have been 100%, they have looked after me as if I were one if their own, doing everything I need since I have a broken back and can't do a lot. They have chatted away to me, made me smile, laugh and just brought me joy seeing them come in, they have helped me deal with my pain quite efficiently.

I would be lost without them, I would be depressed without then, absolutely fantastic service and care.

Hi Mr E741

Great to hear that our Ulster Hospital Ward 6A staff are doing a great job in looking after you.

As you point out, in addition to the importance of having great clinical care, it is so important that our staff make our patients feel good during their stay with us.

Thank you for taking the time to share your appreciation. It's great for our staff to hear positive feedback from those in our care.

Best wishes

Conor
