About: Whipps Cross University Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to hospital, poplar ward 2 weeks ago for a gynecology op. The staff were absolutely fantastic. I was in awful pain during the night due to the packing that was administered post op. Because there was only one dr on duty I had to wait until she was free to see me. The nurses were fantastic- they tried to make me as comfortable as they could and were so kind offering me drinks etc during the night. I couldn't have wished for better care than I received from both the day and night staff. I am so grateful to them all thank you so much xxx
