I am a nurse that works for the Crisis Team in Peterborough, we were referred a service user who in the PAST worked with CGL in Cambridge. On assessment he spoke very highly of the team and found the work sheets and information sheets helpful. Recently moved out of area and working with CGL in Wisbech.

Due to this I got in contact with the team to ask for some guidance around where I would find the resources so we could give the service user something he find effective and helpful.

I rang the team and was passed to Eleanor, I would like to feedback that she was so effective, efficient, caring and compassionate. Eleanor made it so easy to help this service user, she responded quickly to me, went above and beyond by sending me some work sheets and other information that could be useful, it was all relevant and useful.

Eleanor did not have to do any of this as I work for a different team in a different area but she did and helped make the service users care tailored to him, allowing for patient centred care to work.

Extremely professional throughout all the communication. Absolute pleasure to deal with

Thank you for he feedback. Anything we can do to help service users we will always try to do it. Eleanor (Ellie) is our Psychosocial worker in Cambridge delivering lots of structured groups for service users. In terms of Wisbech we have similar structure with a variety of staff delivering meaningful interventions.

The system relies on professionals like yourself to work with people with drug and alcohol issues as it is not just about people being in treatment. Through this great work at the earliest opportunity can be the difference in helping people to avoid things getting worse.
