My daughter who has joint problems was sent for an xray by her gp. A girl called Gill in Radiology department of Monklands Hospital did the xrays. Due to her joint problem and pain her flexibility is not great. Gill was extremely patient and caring towards my daughter. My Daughter found her very cheerful and friendly. 

Gill was also teaching a student that day and my daughter said she was extremely informative . My daughter was able to tell me all about coning in for an xray that evening.

All staff were wearing masks, apron and gloves .

I am delighted that your daughter had a positive experience in Xray and felt that staff were very patient and caring during her examination and that she found Gill to be very cheerful and friendly as well as informative.

Staff really appreciate when patients recognise the service they provide and I will ensure that your comments are passed on to Gill and the rest of the team.

I am also glad that you felt comfortable with the infection control measures in place within our department as even during these difficult times we aim to always provide patient centred care in a safe environment.

Hope you daughters joint problem improves and reduces her pain.
