"My appointment with incorrect information"

About: Kettering General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I received my appointment letter for the spinal clinic which clearly stated that the venue was the Frank Radcliffe Clinic area B, it told me to bring the letter and book in at the reception desk.

Upon arrival I was informed that the appointment was actually telephone appointment. This had not registered with me because of all the instructions directing me to attend in person.   

As it happened it made no difference and I was treated anyway.I had travelled from Northampton so I ask if the instructions can be made more clearly.

My experience at KGH was excellent as usual.

I'm sorry to read of the mixup with your appointment. We would really like to get to the bottom of why this has happened.
