"Gynae Ward 1B"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I have been 3 times to ward 1B (women’s health) at Pilgrim Hospital Boston. On all 3 occasions I was dealt with my Dr Rao the Consultant Gynaecologist and 2 other ladies. The first was for a LLETZ procedure, the second for a follow up smear and the third for a punch biopsy. As everyone is aware these treatments/procedures are awful but every time I have been all 3 ladies have been absolutely wonderful making me as comfortable as possible and treating me with dignity and care. Could not ask for a better team of ladies dealing with such an intimate matter. Thank you 1B you making something awful bearable!

Dear KatieP85,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback for us following a recent visit to the gynaecology outpatient department at Pilgrim Hospital. As a team we pride ourselves in providing high quality, personal and dignified care for our patients. When feedback is received it has such a positive effect on team morale and gives us a sense of pride that we were able to provide such a good service, in what can be such a worrying time for ladies. I was so pleased to hear that at every appointment you found the team Wonderful!, they were able to make a difficult experience more bearable for you by showing you dignity, care and making you feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your story and I will make sure that I pass on your lovely comments to the whole team. Wishing you well for the future.

Take care

Tracy
