"My mom's recent stay in hospital"

My Mom was recently taken to Warwick hospital following a fall resulting in a broken hip. She stayed in hospital for 12 days. I cannot praise the hospital enough for their care of Mom during her stay. Although I wasn't able to visit my Mom due to Covid I did attend twice to deliver clothing and upon her discharge. The hospital was very clean and bright and gave me confidence in mom's care. My Mom was attended to very promptly, scanned, operated on and mobilised the following day. The doctors and nurses on Thomas and Charlcote ward were kind, dedicated and efficient in their treatment and whenever I spoke to mom she was very relaxed and at ease. The support from Occupational health was wonderful making all the arrangements to allow my mom to have a stress free discharge with all the relevant agencies contacted and care in place. The physio team came regularly to help mom become mobile. Mom enjoyed the food and commented on how plentiful it was. I can't thank you enough for all you did for her. She is now in good hands at home and progressing well. A big shout out too to the ambulance drivers who were professional, friendly and so kind. Thank you.
