Currently on Lister ward following back surgery. Middle of the night buzzed to ask for pillow under my back to be removed as i was really uncomfortable. HCA removed it a bit too quick causing pain to shoot through my back. I was deep breathing to try and get rid of the pain when she told me to breath in. She then pinched my nose which i felt was wrong and im sure is not correct practice.
It is bad enough being in a side room and isolated but this actually made me cry and unable to get back to sleep.
