"Helping to cope with my depression and anxiety"

About: Community Partnerships Service

(as a service user),

I participated in the living skillfilly course over video group meetings.

This helped me to realise and come to terms with my situation and knowing that I was not alone in feeling depressed and suffering from. anxiety.

The mindfulness, Tip, body scans skills helped me to control my emotions and distract myself from feeling low and anxious.

I used the skills to help with meditation, breathing exercises and to

Concentrate on what my body was telling me. It helped calm me and I begun to slowly distract myself from worrying so much much, blaming myself in situations which were out of my control.

I know feel that I am in more control on my emotion, although some days are better than others.

Very thankful to all the team.

It sounds like the skills you learnt have been really helpful in supporting you to feel more in control of your emotions, and feel less worried.
