I had been extremely anxious throughout my pregnancy due to previous trauma.
From the minute I had my first appointment with my consultant Dr Mackenzie I knew I wasn't going to be ignored and my voice would be heard.
Nothing was too much trouble for the Labour ward when ever I phoned with concerns. Emma a Dr was amazing, sitting with me while so I was upset.
Shona made sure I had a birth plan in place and any question was never too much hassle for her.
The week of my planned section I was in to ward 16 for treatment and seen Amy and Abbie. Both were instantly aware of my worries and put my kind at ease straight away. Abbie then made sure she swapped her rota so she could be with us during theatre. I can't thank her enough for her care during the whole day. She was amazing and I was so upset when her shift ended. I came into contact with so many staff throughout my pregnancy and each and everyone helped so much during an anxious time for me especially when some appointments partners couldn't be present. I can't thank everyone enough for the support and care throughout this pregnancy
