"Recovery"

About: Change Grow Live Cambridgeshire / Wisbech

(as a service user),

I basically have addiction issues and through this I end up commiting crime and causing chaos within the community and my family. Which eventually led me to become involved in Criminal justice services.

I was introduced to my Criminal justice worker Larraine at CGL in Wisbech, who is brilliant, and from there my involvement with CGL made recovery possible.

I started to attend groups with Andrea, Adrian and then Steve all of which have helped me change the way I view things. I still attend groups and have completed Foundations of Change. I have started the next one "growth" and continue to do P.R.I.S.M with Steve.

i attend men's pod and "Back on track" currently.

I have also met other people in recovery and now feel I am learning to live better than before. I feel I am not quite the finished article yet.

BUT I AM WELL ON MY WAY!!

Hi DJRT

Thanks for letting us know how things are going for you. I certainly seems you have thrown yourself into lots of support available. We really believe in group work and the feedback has ben great. We know sometimes people find attending groups difficult but once they do they tend to say its so helpful.

I am so pleased things are going well for you and I'm sure it will continue.

Thanks

Paul Pescud
