"A word of appreciation"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Ward B2 General Medicine/Endocrinology

(as a service user),

Staff nurse Mc Keague. Ward B2 AAH

After a car accident last year I spent 4days on this ward undergoing extensive tests.  I was the youngest patient in my bay, 3 elderly ladies and a seriously ill MS patient who had no body control completely dependent on care.

I watched this nurse, especially , along with her colleagues,  treat everyone with respect, care and always gave her time to have a word on top off her normal nursing duties.

Some people are borne to care for others and this nurse's compassion and care was in abundance.

I meant to send a one word of appreciation at the time. I hope better late than never will suffice.
