Hello Ajaxpc,

Since the pandemic began it was necessary to stop our open-access repairs service which allowed patients to attend the department without an appointment. This was necessary as we had no means of anticipating numbers or socially distancing patients on a given day.

We have provided details on social media and we now deliver a comprehensive and efficient postal service for batteries, tubes, ear dome and other accessories. The details are as follows;

CONTACT DETAILS:- Tel Batteries/Repairs: 01224 556158

Tel Reception/Appointments: 01224 556200

E-mail: gram.audiologydepartment1@nhs.scot

To get batteries and spare tubes/domes by post please e-mail, phone (leave a message if we cannot answer your call) or send in your battery leaflet to:

Hearing Aid Repair Clinic

Woodend Hospital

Aberdeen

AB15 6XS

To get your hearing aid repaired please post it in to us in a sealed envelope with your name, address, date of birth and a short note stating the problem you are having to the address above. (Please ensure the correct postage is on your parcel)

I hope the above information will be of some help.
