"Access to medical records"

About: The Lawson Practice

(as a service user),

I wanted access to my medical records, I submitted a subject access request as per the instructions on practice website and was hoping for either a email with Attachments of my records or access via my online account, which doesn’t give full information anyway, story for another day. Received a phone call to say that all my medical records have been printed out and when will I be picking them up. Needlessly to say I was not very happy, who keeps printed out paper work now days.

There’s more informative information on the website, instructions which I will be following.

Hi, sorry you have had a problem accessing your records. The whole area of accessing records is a little complicated. Please contact our practice manager, Anwara Begum, and she can explain the process and hopefully help to sort this for you. Again, apologies you have had problems.
