The receptionists leave much to be desired. Extremely short and rude and very unhelpful. The lady on the phone hung up on me because she didn’t know the answer to my question - didn’t even bother offering to find out or pass my query on. Completely unprofessional and infuriating considering how long I had to wait on the phone line.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. It's good to hear that our GP's and Nurses are good. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience contacting our reception team on this occasion. We have had historic problems with our telephone lines which have caused patients to be disconnected. We apologize for these problems. During busy periods you can wait longer to speak to a receptionist. We encourage patients to call after 11 am for non-urgent requests and also use our online services (https://www.patientaccess.com) so that patients that need to speak on the phone wait less time. We are in the process of replacing our telephone system which we hope will improve patient waiting times. Please feel free to contact me if you experience any future problems so we can investigate your concerns directly.
