"Loss of left hand"

18 years ago I suffered a industrial accident that caused the loss of my left hand and part of my lower arm below the elbow. After everything had healed I was referred to Sykes St artificial limb Centre where I was fitted with a electric myo hand. I have worn this continuously since then. Obviously, over an 18year period there have been times when the artificial limb needed running repairs but the staff at the limb centre have always done their very best to keep me mobile and two handed and I can’t praise them enough especially Vicky the centre manager
