(as a service user),

After a routine midwife appointment on Tuesday of this week I unexpectedly ended up being admitted to hospital and taken via ambulance. 

The staff at the health centre were excellent at keeping me as calm as possible. The ambulance staff could not have been kinder. I unfortunately cannot remember their names as it was all a bit of a shock but I do wish them to receive the recognition they deserve. They are amazing at what they do and were even keeping an eye out for my husband following the ambulance to make sure he was ok as well as myself. Thank you all so much for being so kind and caring.

Dear Aljean

Thank you so much for posting your kind comments on Care Opinion and I sincerely hope that you are now keeping better. I'm delighted to read that the staff at the Health Centre were able to keep you calm in what must have been an anxious time for both you and your husband. It is also great to read that our colleagues in the Scottish Ambulance Service provided an excellent service ensuring your were transported safely to hospital and also took the time to check on your husband's wellbeing.
