"So much warmth and comfort"

About: Causeway Hospital / Diabetic Foot Pathway Causeway Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I had been unwell and had been sent into Diabetic KETOACIDOSIS. I was admitted to Causeway Hospital MAU ward. I honestly have never felt so ill, weak or vulnerable.

From the second I entered the ward, I felt so much warmth and comfort from their amazing medical team. The standard of care that I got was impeccable and their approach so personal. Patricia, the ward sister is amazing at her job and runs such a friendly, but organised environment. I nearly felt like I was staying with family-and when you are ill, that makes a huge difference.

Rachel, Suzanne, Frances and Michelle from their support team made me feel so at home and were a huge comfort. It's not often you go to a hospital ward and feel love from a team!

All in all, the treatment that I received was first class, and I can not fault it. Our hospital staff are so under appreciated for the honorable work that they do.

THANKS CAUSEWAY MAU! I have now left hospital healthier, stronger and with amazing new circle of friends.

Hi Niall

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this feedback. These are difficult times all round and it is very heartening for me to hear that staff's efforts are being recognised. Patricia has a great team in MAU and they will be so pleased to see that the work of the whole team is not going unnoticed.

I hope you continue to keep well

Thanks again

Mark
