"Urology appointment"

About: University Hospital Aintree

I had what they thought was kidney stones but ended up being a mass as my kidney wasn’t clearing toxins well enough.I was initially an inpatient there 5 months before the actual surgery which I was told needed to be done soon.Sonce the surgery I have waited 8 months for a urology appointment. My GP actually had to contact the consultant to get the results which were totally different to what he thought they might be.Was the result lost.I’m absolutely furious I and my gp have had to find what was going on and I’m absolutely livid that my other appointment had obviously been cancelled.I felt left in limbo and assumed it’s due to the pandemic only to find out you are doing urology outpatients appointments.I have a urostomy and the other urologist is absolutely brilliant and I’m relieved there is someone who can actually get something right. Its unfair to your secretaries who must have to deal with anoid patients very often. They should be the nhs employees who get a payrise, they’re the people who are overworked and under paid!
