"Greatly improved experience"

In Jan 2019 I visited Eden Ward for a day case gynae procedure. I arrived at 7am. Sadly, I didn't go down to theatre until almost 5pm. I was dehydrated, headachey and tearful. I'd had no information about what was going on. I ended up having to stay overnight, in a bed opposite a patient with dementia. There were also drilling works in the car park until very late at night. Sleep? Not happening.

Fast forward to today. I attended for another day case procedure. Arrived at 7.15. I was delighted to be first on the list. Really thrilled that those ladies on the list for the afternoon were told they could have a drink and toast.  Good learning.

My thanks to the staff on Eden Ward, amazing as ever. Special thanks to AP Heidi. Fantastic employee. Brilliant at her job.

Thank you for my experience today. It makes me forget my past experience.

Your staff today were a credit. Thank you.
