"Respiratory Clinic"

About: St John's Hospital / Respiratory Medicine

(as a service user),

I attended the Respiratory clinic at St John's Hospital today for diagnosis of cause/s of dyspnea/SOB (shortness of breath). All COVID measures were in place, but of course, with these tests I had to be maskless.   I can't praise the staff highly enough, for putting my health and wellbeing first.   The nurse performing the tests provided exemplary care, she was thorough, reassuring and friendly.   She answered all my questions and helped me relax.   Thank you Nurse Elaine and the Scottish NHS.   Don't know where we'd be without you.

Hi thank you very much for taking the time to provide comment on your recent visit to the Respiratory Clinic at STJ. Visiting the hospital for any reason can cause some anxiety and in the current climate that anxiety can be increased. I am pleased to note that you felt safe and re assured and that your health and well being was a priority.. I will make sure that your comments are passed onto the relevant team especially nurse Elaine. I hope you are continuing to feel better and once again thank you for taking the time to make contact
