During this difficult time I have found Forest Gate’s lack of care very disappointing. Trying to get through on the telephone takes a ridiculous amount of time, I have spent up to 45 minutes on hold before I could actually speak to a person! With the average time on hold being approximately 20 minutes. Their disorganisation over sorting out of appointments for the flu jab is appallingly. My elderly neighbour was told to just come along on the 24th October and queue for her jab, they didn’t take her name! How are they going to monitor and socially distance people when they don’t even know how many people will just turn up? Other local surgeries are on top of this with their patients having times to arrive and then a proper system in place in order to socially distance patients and get them through safely. I have absolutely no faith in them any more and am very fearful how they would organise a Covid vaccination if and when one becomes available. I would appreciate them getting their act together, get their staffing in place and start to care about their patients again.
