"A letter from the hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Crosshouse hospital at the end of may 2020. After an ultra sound and a CT scan I was told that I didn't have gallstones but had groove pancreatitis. This is very common with people who drink alcohol a lot. I told the duty surgeon that I was not a heavy drinker in fact I don't drink alcohol. I was sent for a MRI scan it also showed no gallstones in the gallbladder. The hospital sent me a letter informing me of this. But also informed me that it must be caused by the amount of alcohol I have been taking. I have sent an email to them and my GP, as well as Ayrshire and Arran health board.

I am still waiting for an endoscopy as I am in pain and on morphine. I don't know if this will help my complaint.
