Today I accompanied my wife to an appointment at City hospitals Trauma & Orthopaedic clinic after fracturing her finger 5 weeks ago. We where called into the room by the nurse and told to take a seat, the Doctor was sitting at the desk with their back to us and clearly hadn't heard us go in and sit down.
Reading through my wife's case notes the Doctor then proceeded to say something like what the f---ing hell, who's put a broken finger on my case list, totally unaware of us being there.
After 10 seconds of reading they turned around and said I didn't realise you where there, Sorry.
Nice to know what they really think of something so trivial as a finger fracture, we didn't ask to be seen, we were given the appointment by this hospital.
Very unprofessional indeed.
