My optician couldn't help because my eyes were that bad she said she would send a urgent referral for a cataract operation I have tried phoning hairmyres cataract  clinic find out how long I would need to wait can't get a human keep getting answer machine saying leave number and we will get back to you but no one ever does.

Thank you very much Rick for your response some good news to report I got a phone call back and the young lady gave gave me another number to the referral office I phoned the lady was very kind helpful told me was not sure about when I would get an appointment but I was on a priority list I was a bit disappointed but at least I am on a priority list

But to my delight I got a phone call on the 16th to tell me I had an appointment on the 30th of this month I was very pleased to say the least now I can see a bit of hope at getting this sorted the impact on my life has been awful never again will I take my sight for granted it is in my opinion the number one sense my hearing is bad to I have two hearing aids but in saying that I still consider myself luckier than some there are people with no sight or hearing at least I have some sight and some hearing.
