You can NEVER get through to this surgery, on-line appointments cancelled due to Covid-19 or a stupid excuse would be a better term. They say that staff are extremely busy, but doing what since no patients can book appointments on line or by phone.

As for trying to book a flu jab, we gave up and booked with a pharmacy. This used to be a good surgery but for some reason, (maybe new management?) they have become one of the worst in Bristol.

I doubt I will get a reply since I notice other poor reviews have been ignored.

Dear patient

Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the service you have received from Hanham Health. I am very sorry that you have been dissatisfied.

During the current Covid-19 pandemic it has become necessary for us to adapt our ways of working. Changes have been made in order to protect both patients and staff and to ensure that we continue to offer the safest and best possible care that we can to our local community.

We have adopted a telephone triage model to ensure patients are correctly screened and received instruction early on to suspend all online appointment booking to ensure all patients are subject to this process.

Our clinicians continue to consult with patients (albeit predominantly remotely) as previously and will always make a face to face appointment for a patient if there is a clinical need to do so.

We have seen an increased demand for our services in recent weeks and I am sorry for any difficulty you may have had when trying to contact us by telephone. In the future, you may wish to consider visiting our website and using our online consulting tool if you have a non-urgent request or administrative query.

Finally I can confirm that there has been no change to management of the surgery.
