I was due to have a remedial Gynae operation in August after two bodged ops at the Conquest Hospital and was given a date in August 2020 for day surgery at the private Spire, as all the Gynae ops had been transferred there. However the Spire would not have me because of my lowered kidney function and I have been left in limbo for the past year when I first went to my GP with my problem.
I contacted PALS, The Chief Executive of the NHS Trust and the Care Commissioning Group to no avail and am now still awaiting the op. I am very angry as I know there are 20 other women in my situation and I consider this to be blatant sex discrimination as other ops for other specialisms are being carried out at the Conquest, just not Gynae.
