"Fantastic Mental Health Staff"

I was a patient in Ward 20 around this time last year and the staff could not have done more. Gerry the Ward Manager was absolutely great and I felt I could really talk to him about anything. All the Nurses were really patient and understanding and also the HCA were all lovely and there wasn’t a time I didn’t feel like I couldn’t come to them. I would also like the mention the students that were there, the University Students were all very hard working especially Wee Laura ( as I called her ) she was lovely and she was always getting involved and stuck in. There was also a college student from South Lanarkshire that was there called Claire, she went above and beyond for not just me but for the other patients, she really sat down and took the time to get to know everyone which really made my day. All the students will make great nurses one day. 

I can’t thank the staff enough as a year on I am feeling like I’m finally getting my mental health under control by getting the correct treatment and medication.
