I was a patient at the Queen's Medical Centre Ear Nose & Throat department for the treatment of tinnitus. The attitude of general staff at the QMC was good. However, the somewhat dismissive attitude of the specialist was less than impressive - it was effectively "you're deaf - off you go!". I felt that I really had to push them in order to get follow-up treatment and options (such as a hearing-aid).
