Elderly people should be priority. My 90 old father who is not technically minded, needed an urgent appointment due to his celulitis. They simply would not even consider an appointment, not even a telephone appointment. He ended up with fluid leaking from his sores and had to wait 2 hours for an ambulance, although the ambulance crew were lovely he said. This was at 2am in the morning. These receptionists need to take into account the age of the person. OK, it wouldn't have been ideal for him to go to the surgery, but I'm sure they could have advised him or at the very least given him a telephone appointment. My own surgery called me, when I had a bad back for heavens sake. Not happy with his treatment.
"Very unhappy with service"
