About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Special Care Baby Unit Maternity care / Delivery suite

(as a service user),

I give birth to my daughter at Craigavon hospital in mid-September, over 6 weeks early. The team in CAH midwives and doctors were amazing and I am very thankful my daughter was looked after there before being transferred to Daisy Hill SCBU where she still is.

The team at Daisy Hill consultants, midwives, and now SCBU have been amazing. I had all my antenatal appointments there and several admissions with high blood pressure. They do a wonderful job and during these difficult times with no visitors they were on hand to reassure and guide me on my first pregnancy.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank you for taking the time to send us such lovely feedback. Having a baby born early can be such a worrying time for new parents and particularly in the midst of everything that is going on at present. I am glad to hear you have had a positive experience of our services in both Craigavon and Daisy Hill Hospital and wish you and your daughter all the best for the future.
