Annie from genetic testing very friendly, helpful and clear in her explanations on the online consultation. I really appreciated how well she remembered my cancer case from years before. I really appreciated that she had taken the time to really review my notes. It also always makes a difference when you feel someone has a kind manner, hears you, seems to understand how you might feel about your case history, and who helps you to understand complex medical matters. Very positive experience, despite being online under new COVID19 regulations.

Dear PatientMe,

Thank you for getting in touch. I work with the Quality Improvement and Assurance Team and help connect staff, who don't have direct access to the Care Opinion system, to the stories that are shared about the services they work in.

I messaged Annie this morning and she asked me to say thank you to you for sharing such kind words (I'm sure they will have made her smile - just as I did).

Its sounds that this is just how each contact with our staff should be and I hope that you sharing your experience will have helped other people, who may feel a little apprehensive about taking part in an online consultation, feel more comfortable and at ease with it.
