"Where I am now"

About: ASD &LD Division / Lower Harlestone

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

When I first came to St Andrew's Northampton I was eager to be there as my previous hospital was not suitable for my autistic needs. The last place was good for general mental health.

Progress was made and I am enjoying it despite the ongoing circumstances like lack of nursing staff as the numbers were whittled down.

I am happy where I am, belong and it is working well for me

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to provide us with feedback on your experience of our services. Being treated somewhere you feel your needs are being met should always be how someone feels and I am heartened to hear that this is your experience. I would also like to acknowledge your own hard work in engaging with support. I am sorry to hear you feel the number of staff has reduced. I can assure you we are constantly reviewing staffing numbers to ensure everyone’s safety within the Charity and that every person in our care is given the best care every day. I would like to reassure you that this is something we will continue to review and monitor.
